Sometimes it&#8217;s referred to the broth-based fondue set, and sometimes it is just the ceramic or metal pot that keeps the food sizzling hot when served. But in this case at\u00a0<strong>Taiwan Taipei Original Pot<\/strong>,\u00a0\u00a0their signature dish, the <strong>Hua Diao Chicken\u00a0<\/strong>actually works in both cases. Hua Diao is the Chinese yellow wine that is often used in Chinese cooking. It was hot and savoury with the strong rice wine flavour, it was definitely great with steamed rice.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_9906\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-9906\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.pickydiners.com\/www\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/IMG_1120.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-9906\" src=\"http:\/\/www.pickydiners.com\/www\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/IMG_1120.jpg\" alt=\"Original Chicken Pot\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.pickydiners.com\/www\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/IMG_1120.jpg 900w, https:\/\/www.pickydiners.com\/www\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/IMG_1120-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.pickydiners.com\/www\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/IMG_1120-768x512.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-9906\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Original Chicken Pot<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Step 2 and 3 are\u00a0both optional in case you don&#8217;t want the delicious Hua Diao chicken sauce to go to waste. <strong>Step 2<\/strong> is for braising  additional <a style=\"text-decoration:none; font-weight:normal; color:#000;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.myanxietymeds.com\/product\/xanax\/ \"> where can you buy xanax over the counter <\/a> toppings like tofu, rice cake, meatballs or dumplings in the remaining chicken sauce. <strong>Step 3<\/strong> is for adding hot\u00a0broth to the pot and cooking extra veggie toppings in the final Hua Diao flavoured liquid.<\/p>\n<p>As the portion of the chicken dish was pretty big, we only ordered additional bok choy and Taiwanese pig blood rice cake for the optional steps. It was hard to tell if it was a step 2 or step 3 because\u00a0they didn&#8217;t add a lot of broth to the pot. But we enjoyed the extra toppings with the rest of the delicious Hua Diao Chicken sauce. For diners who like interactive dining, Taipei Original Pot\u00a0is definitely worth checking out.
