I can see Trees Organic Coffee on Granville Street every time when I walk out of the waterfront station on my way to\u00a0work, with their\u00a0sign of ‘Vancouver’s Best Cheesecake’ staring right at me. That’s a very bold statement. \u00a0I do like cheesecake, thanks to my cousin Clara, who makes amazing\u00a0cheesecakes and made my very\u00a0first cheesecake experience truly amazing. \u00a0For\u00a0all these years, there has not been\u00a0a cheesecake that would impress me as much. \u00a0But maybe that’s just because the first time \u00a0is always so precious.<\/p>\n

When Foodgressing<\/a> and I decided to hang out\u00a0at Trees Organic Coffee in Yaletown, I had no idea that I was coming in \u00a0here for a treat. \u00a0She was waiting for me with a beautiful\u00a0piece of\u00a0Oreo Cheesecake<\/strong> when I arrived\u00a0at the\u00a0coffee shop.<\/p>\n

The experience of eating this cheesecake was sensational. First of all, I was loving the density and the texture. I do not like antidepressants over the counter <\/a> cheesecakes that are\u00a0too light and fluffy, like the ones at Cheesecake Etc<\/em><\/a>. \u00a0The texture of this one was firm but still smooth from the lusciousness of the cream cheese. Secondly, the sweetness was not super powerful, and vanilla and Oreo flavours was shining through. Finally the Oreo cookie bits in the cake filling, \u00a0the crumbly chocolates crust, and the one extra Oreo cookie on top, \u00a0together created\u00a0some terrific\u00a0texture contrasts, making every single bite a great fun in my mouth.<\/p>\n

Overall, this cheesecake is pretty\u00a0darn good. \u00a0The experience was pretty close to the one from my first time eating\u00a0cheesecake. Still not a huge fan of desserts, but I think I have become a fan of this\u00a0cheesecake!<\/p>\n
