Although a little bit on the sweet side, it was moist and delicious!

bbq java chicken

The Kare-Kare ($12.95) was a plate of beef tripe and oxtail covered in a peanut sauce with some shrimp paste on the side. The oxtail was cooked to super tender. The peanut sauce was much more subtle than expected, and it didn’t work well with the gaminess of beef tripe. However it tasted better after we added the powerful shrimp paste to the dish.

kare-kare – oxtail and beef tripe, peanut sauce, and shrimp paste

Roast pork is very important in Pinoy food culture. The Pork Sisig ($9.50) was served on a sizzling hot iron plate how to order tramadol online legally with chopped roast pork crackling, onion and chili. It’s better to be consume when it’s hot… Once it cools down, it tastes very greasy.
