Check-in at Sundial Boutique Hotel<\/h3>\n

I arrived at Sundial Boutique Hotel<\/a> right before the sun was going down. In the heart of Whistler Village surrounded by amazing mountains, it is right next to Pan Pacific Whistler Village and has Pangea Pod Hotel as the neighbour on the other side. The check-in was smooth and the friendly staff offered me an upgrade for the first night to a mountain-view suite – what a great welcome by the world-class resort of Whistler<\/a> and Cornucopia Festival<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The front desk staff quickly briefed on the features of the Hotel.\u00a0 All the guest rooms are one or two-bedroom suites and equipped with kitchenettes and fireplaces. There are a few\u00a0rooms that have hot tubs on balconies and fantastic views, but they are booked up very fast. However, the other guests can enjoy a rooftop hot tub and have access to a pool at a nearby hotel.\u00a0Three on-site restaurants serve Mexican, sushi, and Irish pub fare.\u00a0 The Irish also serves breakfast, which is rare in the village.\u00a0 Like most resorts in the village, there is plenty of storage for b<\/span>ike and ski on-site for summer or winter activities. Laundry room and underground parking are also available for a fee.<\/p>\n

Mountain View Suite<\/h3>\n

Designed to accommodate four guests, the 600 sqft suite is incredibly relaxing and filled with luxury features.<\/p>\n

The suite\u00a0offers views of the Whistler Blackcomb Gondolas and the centre of the village.\u00a0 Since Whistler had a dry November this year, the views really did not matter a lot before there would be any snow.\u00a0 But you can imagine how impressive it would get when the snow starts to fall over the mountains.<\/p>\n

The master bedroom has a unique King-split bed with luxurious sterns & foster\u00a0mattress and also features CubieBlue Bluetooth alarm clock, in-room safe, and blackout drapes.<\/p>\n

The separate living room showcases a corner gas fireplace, 50-inch flat-screen smart TV with DVD player, and contemporary furniture including a queen-size sofa bed.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The fully-equipped gourmet kitchen comes complete with refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, stove, and all cooking, serving and eating dishes and utensils.\u00a0

The bathroom has a full bathtub equipped with AVEDA amenities, plush bathrobes, heated slate flooring.<\/p>\n

Dining<\/h2>\n

Sundial Boutique Hotel features 3 great restaurants,\u00a0Black\u2019s Restaurant & Pub<\/strong>, Sushi Village<\/strong> and The Mexican<\/strong> Corner,\u00a0all conveniently located on the second floor of the hotel.<\/p>\n

I decided to check out Black’s Pub for a drink before picking up my Cornucopia Festival passes.\u00a0\u00a0Black\u2019s Pub is quite sizable with an outdoor patio and spectacular views of the mountains. Serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner, the food menu features specialty dishes such as bison ribs,\u00a0 sticky date pudding, various pizza, and house yam fries. They also offer\u00a0live entertainment every Saturday after 9:00 p.m. and open mic night on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

As a gin lover, I adored their Gin & Tonic<\/strong> section on the drink menu, which you can mix and match through a list of premium gins from around the world and a selection of Fever-Tree tonics of different flavours.<\/p>\n

I highly recommend the Haymans Sloe Gin<\/strong> from English and the Schramm Organic Canadian Dry<\/strong> from Pemberton, the neighboring town.<\/p>\n

The Rooftop Hot Tub<\/h3>\n

Nothing is more relaxing than having a soak in the rooftop hotpot and appreciating the spectacular views of the surrounding mountains.<\/p>\n

Valley View Suite<\/h3>\n

I checked into the Valley View Suite the next day. Looking at the beautiful European chalet-style\u00a0buildings,\u00a0 I really enjoy the views here as well.<\/p>\n

I had an amazing stay at Sundial Boutique Hotel<\/strong> in the heart of Whistler Village, which was filled with convenience, comfort, and impressive luxury features. It provides ideal lodging for the best Whistler experience. I’m extremely grateful for 2 spectacular nights offered by Whistler Tourism<\/a>, Cornucopia Festival 2019<\/a> and Sundial<\/a>.<\/p>\n
