This year the annual event will take place at\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.scienceworld.ca\/\">Science World<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0on February 8. The venue will transform into Vancouver\u2019s largest cocktail laboratory. And the city\u2019s most talented bartenders and chefs will showcase the chemistry, biology, and physics behind preparing modern cocktails and cuisine.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/4DRgFZxfKZo\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Ticket holders of this fundraising event will enjoy an open bar from 25+ bar stations curated by award-winning bartenders paired along with 12 food stations featuring molecular gastronomy from local culinary artists, as well as a variety of special cocktail science activities, hands-on demos, and classic Science World programming.<\/p>\n<p>Ticket proceeds to raise funds for\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.scienceworld.ca\/classbursary\"><strong>Science World\u2019s Class Field Bursary Program<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0for underserved schools in Vancouver and the Lower Mainland.\u00a0 Imagine how many kids you would get to help as they could visit the Science World for free and learn so much about science.<\/p>\n<h2><\/h2>\n<h2>Cocktail Science Demos<\/h2>\n<p>The event was held at Showcase restaurant, and there are 4 main stations at the preview:<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Laminar Jet Streamed Cocktail<\/strong><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Cocktail: Old Fashioned | Brand: Remy Marti<br \/>\nBartender: Gez McAlpine (Bruichladdich) &amp; Cam Brown (Clough Club)<br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, 'Segoe UI', Roboto, Oxygen-Sans, Ubuntu, Cantarell, 'Helvetica Neue', sans-serif;\">Presented by Makerlabs<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The popular classic,\u00a0<strong>Old Fashioned<\/strong>,<strong>\u00a0<\/strong> is served using a Laminar Jet,\u00a0 and shot right into your mouth.
