Chipotle Mexican Grill

I was always curious about on that big fat lineup of people waiting to get into Chipotle Mexican Grill. Finally I came down here today with a friend.

Yes the decors inside are nice – high ceilings, wide open space, and a lot of light. A blend of wood and metal details are nice touches. But seriously, where the hell are we? A university dining hall where everyone has to be stuck with poor canteen food?

I really don’t care about how fresh and local the ingredients are if they are prepared poorly. Seeing the meats and veggies being scooped out of massive hot pans and dumped onto a wrap or a to-go bowl, I feel like being trapped in a Cuban version of 1984, where big brother tells you this is the best food for you.

Nothing tasted good on my Barbacoa bowl. And it cost me almost 10 dollars.

Okay forget about this crappy lunch… You just had a great haircut today! Focus on the positive energy, David!
